I tried telling this  to the last person @pinchos who bought a national day off me, but he  told me that there he could not find any  corporate codes  that had  free one way. if there is a corporate code, then the free days would more or less  be good for any rental that is either in the tristate, or in order to  get a premium suv  for any national  location, because  the codes only  book into a full size.

Unless you actually work for that company to show proof then it's risky.

@Pesach , later on I realized that I have heard of codes that give a "one way" for almost the same price as what you would get for a "same location return" without any codes. and I know of people that have used it both in tri state airports and in downtown location, and weren't asked for proof. (however I know that a local enterprise odes ask for proof).
however the free one way may still be cheaper then the price of a "same location return" without any codes. and thereby also cheaper then a one-way with the above codes. in addition with the above codes there's always a risk that the guy at the location may decide to ask for proof, or that they may start cracking down in general. in addition, these codes officially come with CDW, therefore if you don't have CC that provides primary CDW, then you are automatically relying on the corporate's CDW. therefore if CV"S something happens, and then they look into it, you can be in trouble.
bottom line, it can be cheaper and less risky with these free one days

i would say even if your credit card has cdw they wouldnt cover you being that your rental icludes cdw from the rental agency

Anyone know if there's a drop charge if I use a national free day for an enterprise location and return it to an airport location?  I've rented from national airport locations and returned to enterprise neighborhood locations numerous times in the past with no drop charge.
