For specific questions you may be better off posting the question in a way that does not give private info. I am sure there are many members who use QuickBooks who may not be able to teach you how to use it but may have experience with the specific issue you are dealing with.

When importing the QBO file of Chase all goes well...

At the very end it goes wrong...

Chase says they don't have a problem.
I also tried importing only a month at the time.
I restored to an earlier time.

Nothing helps.

Using QuickBooks premier 2011

yup, between every thing I tried I downloaded again and again.

Using QuickBooks premier 2011

IMO, easiest thing to do is uninstall QB, and reinstall. On a fast computer, the process should not take veey long.

eta - IIRC, all (most) settings are stored in the company file

QuickBooks is notorious for doing things to try to get you to buy a new version each year.
