I hate to say it, but in the big picture not many militants have been killed. The ones that were are mostly low level, the higher ups are all in bunkers. Israel isn't going after the body count on the other side, they want to destroy the infrastructure, i.e. remove their tools.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Quds brigades have 3,000+ fighters, most of them highly trained. They have lost less than 100 in battle.

At this link you can see on a map where rockets were shot from and where they are headed with a clock. The explosions are imprecise to prevent Hamas from getting information from them.

The last barrage looked like it was around 40 rockets at once.

Is it just me? I think he was misunderstood when he said the soldiers don't want to be there, I believe it was taken to mean that the soldiers don't support the government's position and are only fighting because they are being forced into it?

To further your dilemma, there's a good chance that what hit the school was not IDF shells but Hamas rockets that fell short.

I dint think it's a question of ability. I think they are reluctant bc of the casualties that would be necessary on both sides. They also probably feel they dint have the international political backing for that.

How far in are they now? Why is there no clear information on that anywhere? They have more int'l backing than ever before, afaik including 1948. They don't care about PA casualties. It's amazing that there's such a heavy price on our side.

If they didn't care about Palestinian casualties this whole thing would have been over two weeks ago without a single Israeli casualty....
