What i meant was... If he felt he knew enough about hamas/ mid east to have an opinion in the first place then thst shouldnt be a surprise to him and certainly shouldnt change his "well researched and thought out opinion"

He knew Hamas is a terrorist organization, all he was saying was that we should negotiate with them anyways in order to try and save civilian lives. The video showed him that we are dealing with people who are literally stuck in the middle ages and that there's obviously no one to talk to.
