So who else here thinks that a Holocaust can realistically happen again?

This may be overly simplistic, but who says things have to be complicated:

I always thought that with today's instantaneous-media-environment, it would be impossible to "get away" with mass genocide.

But someone sent me today a video of ISIS rounding up people and blowing their heads off. Yes, you see all this in the video. Yet the world remains silent.

There's no question that anti-semitism still exist, and that most of the people claiming to be anti-zionists are really just good old anti-semites.

So if the world does not stop genocide from happening to people that they don't necessarily hate, who is to say that they will stop genocide from happening to people that they do indeed hate?

I think the Europeans always hated us, but N American & Asia have no history of anti-Semitism. Perhaps the Maidoffs amongst us can stir it up, but I still think America's strong separation of powers and common courtesy make it unlikely (that doesn't rule out anti bris laws & etc). I would be more worried about America falling apart financially as a result of increasing entitlement and stupid foreign policy.

Call me naive but I still believe if he was personally involved in crimes the FBI will get to him sooner or later. The IRS scandal is not over yet. And yes congress has stopped him many times.

For all his faults, he's done quite a few good things. The current US-Africa Forum in DC is an absolutley excellent program to (finally) entrench US influence in Africa… He put together $10b commitments from companies to invest there.

He just succeeded in preventing Walgreens from a reverse tax inversion (moving off shore to avoid paying US corp tax, like Apple and everyone else does). They lost 14% of their value over the decision! Can't say I support it but that's good for the country.

I also (ducking) believe he genuinely wanted to help Israel (in 2009 at least). His bias was simply to make a name for himself.

That's a needle in a haystack compared to the weekly scandals. & the FBI is totally lost. There's known terror training camps here in the US that they're ignoring, but they want to monitor news stories about themselves to see if it's positive or not.
