Didn't read through the thread, but @sf, don't you think it's a bit insensitive (of satmar) to be stressing/their shitah during a time of crisis?

I - and many others, obviously - find it very offensive that they should publish thier shitah at a time like this.

If for whatever reason they think it's beneficial for their shittah that the zionist don't succeed in this operation, they should keep it to themselves.

Therefore, since they're publicizing thier shitah now, it gives off the impression that are asking their chasidim to do everything in thier power to comply - and strengthen - their shitah (Which would include not davening for the boys)

Before "we" give you that, here is a link to the full publication shown originally including the missing paragraph where it says to absolutely daven for the welfare of the boys. They are entitled to their view on Zionism and you don't have to agree with them. But all the above indignation is unnecessary and the time spent arguing could have been used to say another kapitel tehillim for the 3.

A - no one is stressing the shitta anywhere in these articles. Not sure where you see that.

B - even assuming they are, this is a Satmar newspaper, meant for a 100% Satmar readership. If that isn't "keeping it to themselves", I don't know what is.

As has been discussed multiple times here already, saying that the shitta calls for not davening for these boys is an outright falsehood and shows basic misunderstanding of the shitta.
