Cabinet meeting about ceasefire has been taking much longer then planned. Supposedly Bennet is pushing really hard to let IDF finish the job.

It also seems that Mashaal does not want a ceasefire but the terrorists on the ground do.

Does anyone else thing it is strange that so many Terrorist surrendered? Could they not retreat or just keep shooting? they all prepared to die anyways, its a big Zchus for them to get killed. Maybe they were hungry and knew Israel would give them food once detained. They let most of them go anyways.

I read a report that Hamas thought that the IDF would go much deeper into gaza and therefore placed most of their fighters further back, but Israel only went to the border cities and sort of trapped them in.

I believe that comment was tongue in cheek, what he was saying is that it's very easy to sit in London and say "Israel needs to do more to protect civilians" the realities on the ground is that Israel does everything in its power, and more than any other nation in history, to protect Palestinian civilians. Of course terrorists are getting killed. They just don't report those casualties and every terrorist is declared to be a civilian. This is war. It's not intentional.

Of course, civilians should be targeted like we won the war against Germany.

i guess I remember what happen in Iraq and Afghanistan differently every time a stray missile killed innocent civilians.

At this link you can see on a map where rockets were shot from and where they are headed with a clock. The explosions are imprecise to prevent Hamas from getting information from them.

Right now my map is showing a rocket which was shot around 20 minutes ago and is now over Italy (!) and still going. I guess the software does not deal with going into the water properly.

When opened in a different browser it doesn't show it so i guess it is since it didn't explode it "kept going"
