Seems to me it's like saying a kosher hotel in Brooklyn is better than the Mandarin Oriental because it's such a pleasure to get kosher food...

But perhaps we're (I?) missing the "true value of hospitality..." where the Plaza in Boropark is an objectively better hotel from a service and ambiance perspective than is an Aman, simply because one has access to kosher food that isn't inedible

Reading all the TR's and seeing the food porn pictures, it certainly seems that the food in incredibly important to ppl.
That's fine; if food is important to someone, it's important to someone. But to say LY F is even in the same parsha as the hard OR soft product of CX/SQ/LH is disingenuous, IMO.
