Jos A Bank- The worst Cust Service

I tried returning something to Jos A bank Freehold. (i ordered it online) they will not take it back and give me a credit, because i dont have the CC # that it was purchased on even though i have another card from the same account with a different #.

Any ideas what to do.

Technically they are required to accept it however they are very hesitant as one of their reps explained to me that the return to the store counts against the total sales of that particular store even though you purchased it online, therefore they will come up with any excuse not to accommodate you.

took a Jos A Bank suit the mall to return . Said number on the suit does not match number on receipt .

I called Customer Service they said they are too busy -They took down my # and said someone will call me back .

I called Customer service 3 more times on three different days with no one calling me back.

I e-mailed them 3 more times and they did not respond.

I called Amex Purchase Protection they said sure no problem we will refund you

Nice. I also remember having problems w/ JAB. I don't buy from them anymore, and I'm upset they took over Mens Wearhouse. wish it was the other way around.

+1. They have terrible customer service. However, sometimes Customer Service's ineptitude can be advantageous to the consumer as the reps don't know anything and sometimes help you accidentally.
