I don't understand what is so offensive about what I said. Using the example that I gave, that mother is obviously not so religious. Where will that family feel more comfortable? It doesn't take major thought to realize that they are not likely to get comfortable in Lakewood and are more likely to feel accepted by a more modern community. I don't think that means something wrong with that community just like it should not be controversial that groups more involved in outreach are more likely to have such people affiliated with them. I alluded to that previously but I guess the chip on your shoulder precludes your realizing that.

A community where there's some level of individuality and people are not entirely controlled by the "community", where people don't get thrown out of shuls for transgressions in their own private lives. There must be something wrong with that community.

I am not being politically correct and I am saying like it is. Westchester as a whole houses modern communities. Modern kids have more exposure to the outside world than Chassidish, Yeshivish, & Modern Yeshivish kids. Therefore the considering where he is from doesn't shock me the nature of the content that came out of his mouth. That is not to say that the OJC of Westchester County are perverse. Rather I am not surprised considering the communities values. What does floor me though is the fact that Mom & Dad allow this. Jewish or not, most "normal" parents would take issue with that kind of language.

Why am I not  surprised at his opinion?
From the last two articles of his that I read I can conclude:
A secular Jew's life is saved because he decides to change his flight so as not to fly on shabbos = chillul hashem, and is bad for Orthodox Jews to publicize and celebrate.
Orthodox Jewish kid tells horribly dirty jokes to millions = not a chillul hashem and good for Orthodox Judaism.

After reading those same 2 articles my take is that he probably doesn't really believe in what he's writing.  He just takes logic for a 180 degree spin and calls it the new Modox.  For those who recall he failed to defend his haaretz article when presented with sound logic, he just resorted to name calling.

My thoughts on the Orthodox Kid making dirty sex jokes on America's Got Talen.
