Restaurant.com Deals on Kosher spots
« on: September 23, 2011, 09:25:33 AM »
Got an email saying that 80% off again is back, code is FALL

On the list, I found a Las Vegas kosher restaurant called Panini Cafe. Anyone know if it's good?

In NY State: Wolf and Lamb Steakhouse, Traditions, Ben's Best Gourmet, Safa

Found nothing in NJ, but there's a few places in LA

When I went to orchidea, wasn't much impressed anyway. Prices were about equivalent with lamarais (actually, probably a bit more expensive - really), and taste was...probably the worst fish I've ever tasted. My dining partner agreed. Even with the $25 off, it came out to more than an equivalent meal in cafe k would've cost, with less enjoyment.

WHat???!! >:( >:( :o

No Way!!!!

I demand that everyone follow my personal preferences and tastes!!!

 ;D :D :)

I'm just sharing my opinion. Also, for someone that's never been there, they have the right to hear a review, and also to know how expensive it is. I would never have guessed that a milchig restaurant would be that expensive.

My wife and I dined at Orchidea at the end of the summer and we found the food to be delicious, even if it was expensive. The white glove service is nice, too. And best of all, because it's in Brooklyn and not Manhattan, traffic and parking weren't a major hassle.

What are you smoking? :) No traffic/parking issues in Bklyn? What time of day did you go?

I actually found a parking space right around the corner from Orchidea. It was Thursday night.

Another advantage of Orchidea was that the place was wayyy quiter and serene then places like La Marias.

To be fair, I found parking around the corner as well.

Most places in brooklyn (wuth the obvious exception of boro park) are pretty decent as far as parking is concerned, especially during the day.

I agree with both points.

Once found parking around the corner and once right in front, + they do have valet parking.
