Delta change fees

I have a few $100 domestic Delta tickets in "x" fare that I'm not going to be able to use. Does anyone know the rules on modifying or cancelling these tickets? Is there any way to salvage any value from them if I cant fly on the dates that they're ticketed for?

It will cost more than that to change them. You can always hope that Delta either changes the time of the flight, or conditions force them to waive change fees.

Thx. They've actually changed the times of the flights a couple of times already since I booked them, but the changes were really insignificant, so I don't think I can do anything with that.

My wife book a flight for a friend on Delta through Expedia for next week, instead of doing MIA-JFK she accidentally booked JFK-MIA,
Is there anything I can do about it or I just gotta take the loss?

Ticket cost is $146.

Do I understand you to say that Delta might let someone on a flight in MIA to fly to JFK, when they have a ticket originating in JFK?

I'd start with Delta and play HUCA a few times.  I'd try Expedia as well. Can't hurt.
