For guys running go daddy hosted sites, they have since a couple of month a new grid (new kind of servers that are supposed to run much faster).
People just have to call to ask to be migrated.
For older customers, they cannot migrate, as the servers are somehow too outdated for that.
I was very annoyed that their loyal customers are stuck with slower hosting, so I first made sure, to get a $700+ credit, and I then found a way to circumvent it.
Log in to go daddy, go into your hosting account, settings, and enable SSH. (Give a valid phone number, as you will get an automate call giving you a number).
After 3 days you will be moved to a bit newer server.
You then call to be upgraded to the new grid, and here ya go.
