No IP.biz microsoft takedown. Alternatives?
« on: July 01, 2014, 11:02:50 AM »
I use no-ip to remotely log into my ip cam. Stopped working today: https://www.noip.com/blog/2014/06/30/ips-formal-statement-microsoft-takedown/

I dont remember how I set it up, I just blindly followed instructions at the time. What is a good free alternative and what do I need to do? (roughly; -I know how to google  :) )

The article does not imply that it's a permanent outage. Perhaps it will resume working. I just paid about $65 for 3 years of dyn.com. I don't know of any free service.
