Seems like this would be my best option?

I'd say save the $50 and get the i3, if you all you need is AOL etc.

The i3 desktop processor is a really good processor (I would say equivalent to the i5 laptop one)

Looks good to me, though I'm not expert. It also has good ratings on Staples.com, though they mention it "lacks adjustability", which I don't think is an issue but you might want to consider.

It has $21 instant savings which I think is a coupon. Will I also be able to use $30 of $150 coupon?

Hey All,

I'm looking for a desktop with dual monitors.  My minimum specs are:

i5 processor
320gb HD
4gb ram
Windows 7 Professional

Looking to spend <$700 with monitors, or <$500 without.
I am registered for the Dell/Amex $100 off, but can't seem to find anything  I regret not getting the deal Dan posted a little while ago, but any help is really appreciated!

Optiplex 790 with dual 22" monitors
$749 with code: ?$9JKKWBGTNZMM

Add $8 to get a 320GB HD and it meets all your specs.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

experts, just ordered this (http://www.walmart.com/ip/AOC-2436VW/13060462) one from walmart a few days ago. ordered 2 of them. price seemed amazing. does anyone know if its not a good company or not as good as the others posted here? not worried about bracking, as i did put it on an amex, just wondering if graphics, etc, is not good...

Tigerdirect also sells that 24" AOC screen for $129.99 No tax, and there is better cashback options than at Waltmart (UR or MR ect)

The price is great.

When I was looking into purchasing a 24" i looked into this model, and from reviews it doesnt have great viewing angles. It might work fine for you...

Looking to buy a decent desktop for $299 or less. Not going to be used for any sophisticated gaming, just internet browsing and some word processing.

Monitor not necessary, but it is definitely a plus.

Is this any good?: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/687478/Acer-AX1430-UD30P-Desktop-Computer-With/

Any help is appreciated

Anything worthwhile? Especially considering it's a refurb?

Hey all, looking for another computer.  It's going to double as a server at my office, so it needs some power; no monitor necessary.

Minimum specs are 8gb ram, 750gb hd, Windows 7 Professional.  Budget is around 1k.

Thanks!

1K is a bit high for what you are looking for. Your specs look like something in the $500 range.

For 1k you can get some serious power.
