To/From TLV on KF miles
« on: July 02, 2014, 10:32:54 AM »
Hey everyone,

I'd like to fly JFK-FRA-TLV with the first leg in singapore suites. Would this award be 57.5k (if I can convince the phone agent for 15% off) + Taxes and fees (FRA ones, TLV ones or both?) or would it follow the star alliance partner chart?

Thanks!
J

It would follow the *A chart. You may be able to convince the agent to give the 15% discount though that is a big YMMV.

15% off is online only and SQ only. To TLV you need partner flights.

Not with partners.

According to the official rules, they're supposed to divide it in two awards, the first leg on SQ chart and the second leg on partner chart.

But its fairly easy to convince them to make it all in partner award.
Forget about having it priced as a SQ award.
