The crime in Brooklyn is not specifically targeted at Jews.

And yet there are jews caught in the crossfire or walking out at night who have terrible things happen to them.
If a girl is raped/murdered should I say it's your fault for living in NYC and not in a safe ghetto like Beachwood, OH?  And say that during shiva?

After 9/11 should I have said it's your fault for living in NYC when you know terrorists are more interested in bringing down a city like NYC over CLE?

The crime in Brooklyn is not specifically targeted at Jews. Shootings are typically between drug dealers and rival gangs. The settlements on the other hand have to deal with a targeted threat and rockets falling on a daily basis. They also have to deal with horrific murders like the family of five that were stabbed to death in the middle of the night a couple years ago.

That said, I SALUTE the people who live there for their bravery. The fact is that the more the Israeli's back away from these areas to move "inland", the more dangerous it becomes.

Get your facts straight. Rockets do not fall in the settlements. In fact, they wouldn't fall at all if there still was a settlement in Gaza.

be careful with crime stats. a community by me claims they never had a murder. a person was stabbed 10-12 times and they ruled it a suicide. true story.
