Shabbos At Hotels 2014
« on: July 04, 2014, 07:15:36 PM »
Every year I try to go away with friends to a hotel for the summer shabbosim.
It's  beautiful to see all the different Jews (heimishe, chasidishe, ashkenaz, sephardim, singles, couples, etc) come together and enjoy a shabbos.

There used to be a Facebook page with the "Priceline name your own price special" hotel of the week,
I don't see it anymore and would like to start ia similar discussion on here.

Please list hotel name, successful bids, dates and what *options you chose to get that specific hotel.

If you know of multiple hotels for a specific shabbos, please do tell.

Maybe we will see each other!

Thanks.

Excluding the priceline idea,  there are many threads on this topic already.
Search and u shall find. embassy suites parsippany has a consistent minyan over the summer. Shabbosgetaways blogspot page lists a month at a time. It's a byof program

Thanks. However the priceline idea is unique because some people can't afford to pay almost $500 a shabbos (including food).... Last year we got rooms for $45/nt in 4 start hotels.

This year I haven't worked on it yet i was hoping somebody did already

more like $300 but you can stay in nearby hotels for much cheaper $ 67 Fairfield inn and we once did $99 for a 2 bedroom suite at the nearby sonesta es suites. (Full kitchen,  residence inn style)
