I looked around and couldn't find a Hyatt Master Thread or the following information. If it was already talked about then please point me in the right direction and I will delete this.
-----------------------------

I want to get one last night in before the big day (kiddie is on the way) and my wife's birthday is after the due date so I want to have a surprise last night out. Dinner and a nice hotel, one last Hurrah (after the 3 countries and 20+ nights in hotels this year).

I never stayed in a NY hotel and I am not sure the best way to go about it. I have two different options. Go out to eat and hotel in he city or go to a nice restaurant and stay in a nice hotel in Jersey. I listed all the hotels below that are an option.

I need to know which hotel is better for a one night stay. Keep in mind that I have a free Suite upgrade ( I will use c+p for the hyatt properties to get it) So the Hyatt hotels have a better advantage for me.

New York:
Waldorf Astoria New York - $125 and 25k points
Sheraton NY Times Square - 12k points
Grand Hyatt New York - 25k points / $125 + 7,500k points
Andaz 5th Ave. - 25k points / $125 + 7,500k points
Hyatt 48 Lex - 25k points / $125 + 7,500k points
Hyatt Times Square NY - 25k points / $125 + 7,500k points
Hyatt Union Square - 25k points / $125 + 7,500k points
Suggestion for a nice steakhouse in the city

New Jersey:
W Hoboken - 12k points
Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson - $125 + 7,500k points
Suggestions for a nice restaurant in Jersey??

TIA!

It's a category 4 so you can use anniversary night. Or buy one for $125ish don't see the point of using 7500 points. Unless you need stay or want to use a diamond upgrade.

I am going to use a platinum upgrade... So i guess its worth 7,500k points for a nice suite.

I have narrowed it down to:

Park Hyatt New York or Andaz 5th Ave. Which one will get a better suite upgrade with?

I am then going to go to Talia's steakhouse as it is good food and not extremely expensive (opinions?)

Any good ideas on what to do to relax with a uber pregnant wife in the city at night?

TIA

Not sure about the food, but there's a LivingSocial for $65 dinner for 2.

Thanks Dan, booked in the Andaz and got a Loft Suite on a free night award!

I am an idiot once again. I meant I am going to Abigael's!

Dan, got any secret spots in NY that I can go with the wife so a nice pleasant time?

I'm not a fan of abigaels, many better places.

Highline is a unique NYC walk.

Yes, but I am not looking to blow a ton of money on the uber fancy steakhouses and Abigaels has a nice selection and isnt crazy expensive.

Le Marais has better food and offers a better value.
