Was the Jacuzzi a upgrade on the royal suite?
When I search on fattal the seem to have 2 royal suites. This first is 1100 shekel, and the second is 1200.

Not sure if there is Mehadrin food but I've heard that there are video cameras at every pool

also the jacuzzis on the private balconies.

i know someone staying very close to your room now.

Le meridian in Eilat. Possibly Sheraton Tel Aviv

I dont get why the $20... And it looks to me that the LM is easier for you to get than the Sheraton Tel Aviv, I got it on c&p from them 2 weeks ago for a 2 night stay, and got them to upgrade me to a great suite and access to the club lounge on 17 floor- all as Gold!

So whoever is there now can come up to me and say hi. I am not hard to spot. Spg does not offer the suite with jacuzzi so thats a little upgrade. The garden suites are a little more expensive as they have direct pool access and also have a jacuzzi. I booked a royal through spg and asked for a garden as upgrade

FYI, they definetly do upgrade PLATS to the Garden or Royale suite, it just takes a bit of handling

I know, but when traveling with 3 kids i dont even want the 1% chance of being stuck in the regular room.

As I said traveling with 3 kids I didnt want to risk the hotel being full or not getting the upgrade. 99% it would have worked out, but I dont want 1% ruining my vacation

Dan just that you know and I can prove it with a  picture, they have cameras in the trees facing the rooms. I dont know upto what floor they can film, but all garden suites are forsure covered by CCTV. I guess its to make sure no one breaks in to the rooms through the garden, but I only by chance spotted them. There are at least four of them. They have night vision and can film whatever is going on in the jacuzzis!!

I never claimed they wouldn't have it there...just having fun ;)
There's no comparison between that style of hotel and a much more sprawling one like the GH Kauai.

No offense taken. I still think its a major Chuzpa to have cameras facing private gardens and porches hiden in trees. This is not the public pool, its my garden!!

We had an absolutely miserable experience at the LMDS in 2007.

Anyway there's really no reason for an American to go to Eilat IMHO.  I don't really see the draw.
