vacation spot w/kids that has SPG hotels in area

Looking for a nice vacate with little children. We have spg points so would like to use those to cover the hotel expense. We would love to do Banff (check out the pics on Banff wiki, mind blowing) and can wing it with the kids, but there is no spg hotels there. There are a few in Calgary but its an hour plus drive from Banff.

Anyone know of a great place to go with kids that has SPG hotels in the area?

Anyone looking into Banmf because of Dans post thinks about going to the Fairmont
But then read how he discourages going there.
I think the only options are in Calgary

There is one Fairmont that seemed good. But there is no SPG hotels in the area other than in Calgary.
That is why I may not end up doing Banff. I would like to do a nice place with SPG availability. Vancouver/Whistler has which is a great spot, but we did that already...

If you don't want to use the cash then sell your SPG and use the proceeds.

SPG hotels don't offer nearly the value they did a few years ago.

That's a good point. Maybe I will sell. But once I am at it, can you suggest places that are great vacations that have SPG? If I do find something I do not need to worry about selling. SPG is nice because you can change things pretty close to the end and 4 nights gets you a 5th free

Niagara is actually a great choice, it does have SPG right there, but been there done that. Most folk from North East have been there I would imagine. Iguazu Falls...I needed to google that one....deep down in South America...that's a distance! I doubt I have the miles for that. I think North America would be better. I do appreciate

four points by Sheraton. This was a few years ago. They had minyan in basement. I imagine the shul is still there as well as kosher restaurant. Other ppl needed to come from other hotels for the minyan. This was convenient.

More like you hope you never end up in that resturant. The waiter literally picked a fight with us then proceeded to throw a hot dog at us. Mind you the waiter was prob 15 years old and was the kid of the owner it seemed.
Also I do think there is a toloes here.
