Based on reading here my understanding is SQ gives 100% and UA less than half that based on cost, so SQ is the obvious choice.

What about for little kids, to get more miles into the SQ account to have enough to fly am thinking I'll need to transfer from MR which means getting a card in their name? Is there another way?

I credited my kids to SQ. Can one transfer Chase UR or Citi Thank You points to kids SQ accounts?
