if you didn't put the ffn in then you can call them up and ask them to cancel the credit and to credit it to another airline (I did it with AA and BA)

I just had an issue with AA crediting to themselves when I requested to be credited to AS at check-in.  They made a "one-time" exception and uncredited the miles so I can report them to AS.

Where is it best to credit AlItalia business or Y+ TLV-JFK?

My next flight would most likely be TLV-Europe, so perhaps EY which has good redemptions with Brussels?

https://www.alamo.com/en_US/car-rental/travel-partners.html
Careful though, Alamo charges you a few cents per day in order to get those miles.

I see different rules by airlines how far back can one request missing miles (e.g. Lufthansa 6 month. untied 12 month)
Is there any info anywhere for all airlines/programs?
Also dose that apply only if a frequent flyer account (of which I want to credit to) was open at time of travel?

Booked a flight on AF, ORD-CDG-TLV in V (ORD-CDG legs) and L, which look to get 25% and 50% respectively.  Since they get the same percentage, I was thinking to credit it to AS since those miles would be more valuable to me.  AF "rebooked" me on a new flight outbound ORD-CDG basically 30 minutes earlier and now my ticket for that flight says Y class, which should get 100% accrual.  Just curious if this happened to anyone before and they got the higher amount of miles.

Nice! Did they change the whole flight to the new booking category or just one leg they rebooked?

Was a bit different scenario.

I was booked VA SYD-LAX V, Discount economy (the $151 glitch)
They cancelled my flight and rebooked me VA SYD-BNE-LAX.
I waited two weeks until only Y was left and then called and demanded to be put on a Non-stop flight.
They booked me on DL-SYD-LAX Y class
