Assuming you'll be flying
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

trust me take the $100. you'll never use the 100 matmid points. I thought I'd never use the $100 voucher (can only be used when buying directly through elal and in your name), but I had some time at the airport and started asking what I can redeem it for - they didn't even know what it was. I got them to let me use it for a free second checked bag. probably the best use I could have gotten. you can use it for a "plus seat" too though

So 1200 RT from New York means 60K MR for RT coach? Not bad...
Plus some YQ.

60k is worth $900 and add on $300 fuel.
You can get a paid ticket for less then $1200 and dates that it costs more they won't be available for points.

For elal silver members it's 800 points.

Besides they have some summer dates,
So $1200 is good for summer dates.
If u work for a living, why kill urself working?

Repost, I said that at the DO last night, where were you :)

Anyway, how long after transferring in 5K AMEX points does the executive status kick in?
Anyone have experience?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

LOL! I heard it good and well last night, I just wanted to post it here for the unfortunate rest that missed the DO, to give them a chance to get to Israel for the next DO!

Just wanted to point out a important point that elal are not clear about. Becoming a executive on elal by transferring 5000 MRs will only work if the Matmid account is a overseas account (not living in Israel) if you are you must first call up elal and change it if not you will have to retransfer another 5000 points after you have switched that ( from experience)

Any way to keep 100 matmid points from expiring? Is it even worth it? Is there anything I can do with them if I'm not flying (like give someone free bag etc.)?

If I open up a Matmid account and transfer 100K amex points for a one way business class ticket - will get executive status right away and will be able to book it?
