Better? I wanted to grab it while it's open.
If you can't get the one of the middle pairs of seats in F on the 777, you'll be better off in J on the A380.

Thanks

Thoughts on first leg of a trip from TLV-?-ORD:
LX J vrs. LH new J on 747-8?

Similar price in terms of YQ, LH has a 5 hr layover in FRA, while LX would give me a 3hr layover in ZRH plus layover in ORD, or a short layover in ZRH and long layover in ORD.

Interesting- looks like a slightly better product even though LHs is newer - and didn't realize the j part from TLV- thanks!

From my research, they both have Thompson Vantage seats, but the SN J cabin is newer, and therefore more "fresh". I think their IFE screens are bigger as well. Can't speak to the service on LX A330 as I've only flown them intra-europe.

All right, I finally built up enough AA, and per the "earn n' burn" rules I'm going to check out the EY first apartment before the inevitable AA deval. So far the plan is to fly JFK-AUH-MCT.

Anyone got any interesting ideas or routing for the return? Looking for one stopover in an interesting city and interesting or nice airlines. Will have about 100K AA, 70K DL, ~40UR, and a smattering of MR and SPG. Might go for a ThankYou points bonus offer soon.

If you have the extra miles, don't care and want the extra space, get the seat. Personally, i have never gotten my kid a seat and have not had issues in J/F.

Don't really have the extra miles. What was your experience? you held your kid or there were extra unsold seats?

I've had great experience in J/F (though also depends on ones kid). Some flights there were extra seats, others nothing extra, but most J/F seats can accommodate an adult and child (some even two adults) comfortably.
