Basically the same.

Thanks.

Probably better to book for two with 52K LH miles and $275 each vs. 82K AC miles and $180 (infants included), right?

Just flew EI new J configuration. It's a pretty solid product, especially 5k which I had and I think it's the best seat. The only major issue is the feet space when you go to sleep is way too narrow and the seat isn't truly lie flat. Service is A+

I have my parents set up on a plan B from EWR to LHR on Thu flight 29

I picked this flight as it was the only 777 flight of the day (the only 2 cabin plane) with seating 2-2-2.

They now switched the aircraft to a 777 with 2-4-2 in business class.

Does not seem worth flying in business to get stuck in 2 middle seats, How do they get away with flying such a plane ?

Best seat for privacy? I'll be flying it this summer, hoping I have the same positive experience

What's overall better TG F 747 or A380?
747 seats look nicer from photos

Yes you'll understand when you walk through the cabin. Basically most seats have only an armrest that separates them from the aisle and when I say arm rest I mean like an Economy quality armrest. This seat is a single seat with direct aisle access and has an armrest that has space to store things on both sides of you. Its very spacious for storing things. Of course you get free WiFi which worked pretty good. I got Weiss meals which were nothing special. I had brought some food that needed refrigeration but they don't have a refrigerator on board so keep that in mind. They did offer to put it on ice for me.

A380
Even though less privacy (so it looks) and the boring white color? guess the purple orchid makes up for it..

Neither have doors, but the A380 is a much more spacious plane and bigger seat, quieter plane, and has a much larger and nicer lavatory.

Well I would assume you want 2 middle seats and a single seat is that correct? If that's the case take 5k and the 2 middle seats next to it. Makes sense?

Whats the easiest way to select my seat? BA.com tells me to go to aerlingus.com and aerlingus.com tells me to contact my booking site

If I book two separate reservations
1) TLV-FRA in Y or J on LH using LH miles
2 hr stopover
2) FRA-NYC in F on LH using AC miles

Will I be able to check 3x70lb bags in TLV or only what my TLV-FRA portion allows?

The second leg will have nothing to do with your allowance for the first.
