Why not? Assuming they could ticket it quickly.

They used to only let you book 2 days prior to the flight. It seems that rule changed at the same time they stop rounding down for bookings over the phone (which is still YMMV)

Missed out LAX-JFK flight due to delayed AA connection. They put us on a flight tomorrow evening but there were no seats in J so agent over booked it and said half hour before flight they will assign us seats since there 4 open in first so they will upgrade 2 business to make room.

How safe is this I mean is there a chance by that time they won't have any F seats and weven won't be able to fly?

Is it always this hard to find Premium cabin availability to Europe this time of year ?!
I've been checking one-twice a day for the past 3 months to about 15 European destinations from Nyc, for premium cabins, and there literally is nothing.
The only thing I'm seeing is all the saver economy, and standard premium awards disappearing.
Do all airlines mostly open up saver awards, only a day or two before the flight - bec. That's just nerve wracking ?!
Life is as good as you make it...

The 77W currently only flies LAX/JFK to LHR and DFW/JFK to GRU.
Also LHR-DFW

I have no clue where in Europe you are looking to go, I just checked NYC-FRA, there's plenty availability in J & F, as of tomorrow & almost every day after until the 9th, and many more dates.... So I don't really know what you're looking for.

As a kosher traveler, is it worth it spending the extra miles  on an LH a-340 first class vs. business on a 747-8?

I don't know from where you're departing, if it is EX NYC, they serve a phenomenal four course kosher meal for F Class. (my TR is coming.....)

To be honest I was really impressed, it's catered by 'Regal' (which is actually a division of Bornstein, so I don't understand why they can't serve this on SQ A380 F? I actually do understand, it all depends on the request of the airlines...), the only other time I remember being so impressed with airline food, was on Delta J (JFK-TLV on their 744).

Personal experience has been that the bulkhead ottomans were always a drop wider, maybe I'm wrong and just imagining.
flight was yesterday. from whaat i can tell the row 1 and 2 ottomans were the same, but cant be sure bc i forgot my tapemeasure.

btw meant to ask before, i got the tix for 80k from thailand to ewr on united with 1/2 on bus and 1/2 on first. looks like first all the way is 130k. was it cheaper bc half was in bus?

United is cheaper to fly (redeem) than *A members.. So if part of your flight trip was including a United flight it brings it down a little..
