Even just to escape the misery of being crammed into coach.. Spending all those hours constantly moving around to find that unattainable comfortable position..

Not sure how I'm ever going to be able to go back haha...

Especially since when I travel back and forth from Israel I bring a ton of baggage, so just for the baggage allowance alone, business is worth it.

I mentioned it, although I think it has since cahnged to Monday. Either way be sure to check constantly, as they switch equipment last minute constantly. (I've had it happen to me 5 or 6 times)

Or set up an equipment swap alert on EF.

I have been successful getting on to the united direct flight multiple times. (once on a LH ticket!)

It was tlv-zrh-nyc with LX, just booked with LH.
I'm sorry, I took as a given that the OP was talking about TLV - NYC.

Do you mean you booked an award tlv-zrh-nyc on LX, they swapped out to a plane without business seats and they rebooked you the direct UA flight to compensate even though there was no award availability?

Just wanted to update AA Flagship experience JFK to LAX, all the way to the right of terminal 8 departures in JFK, right when you walk in, there's a not so noticeable door that says flagship departures. walk through there, you get a personal escort to the very front of the security line, where they didn't make me remove jacket or shoes, and within 120 seconds of walking into the airport I was through security.
The flagship lounge was a bit disappointing from a kosher perspective, since everything is made in house. Waiter found me some chips and nuts.and there was plenty of liquid of all types.
