Without a doubt Austrian. The food however ex NY will be Borenstein (Ou only) in OS Vs. Regal in LH (Chassidishe Hashgacha).
It's really depends on the aircraft, if you take the new business class on the lh 748 , then go with that, otherwise fly Austrian
On Austrian it looks like you put in your feet in a small cramped cubby, isn't LH seats better with that?

Had anyone flew AA business domestic? Is it worth to book with avios or it is the same as economy and doesn't pay the extra 9k points?

JFK-LAX/SFO (321T) or MIA-LAX (777-200) yes it's worth it.  Fully flat or angled flat and personal entertainment system.  While technically domestic, SJU flights are branded as Business but feature recliner seats.

Those flights wouldn't be 9k extra points :)

I think B6, but AA is supposed to be excellent too. When were you thinking of going?

Thanks! Talking couple here. How do you know if a route is using the P.S.?

Don't have miles with them (nor do I have MR to transfer). I figured you would have tried them all out by now, but now I realize you may not have what to be travelling to NY for. Hopefully, mid-January.

All flights JFK-LAX/SFO are PS and there is usually one flight a day from EWR-LAX on the 757, but check the seat map to make sure.

Correct. I might have tried B6 Mint, but it's new since I regularly flew to/from JFK.

I think DL has the best J but AA is cheapest in X with avios.

Which LY J is better - 747 to JFK or 777 to EWR? Is there a significant diff between the two?

I believe the 747 has the "new" business class, FWIW.

Good point. Has anyone been on both products? Are they significantly different? Will be taking a lap infant and EWR is more convenient for us than JFK, but both are available. Am booked on EWR at the moment.

Thanks. Avios is 37.5K. Will have to stock up a bit more if I choose to go that route. UA would be easiest for me miles-wise, but I imagine it's not a great product?

Why not just go X? It's only 5.5 hours?

Did someone hack your account?  :P

When I go to MIA I have a hard time settling for Y. When a flight is more then 4.5 hours I'd redeem for J.

Well, my father just flew LGA-ATL in F on a paid ticket, long story short, they did not have a seat for him in F and he seat in Y. He whats app'd me the entire flight how terrible it is....
You can say what you think when you think what you say.
