I just think the service is much better. Flight attendants are incredibly friendly and helpful with a baby. Offered to watch our kid while we slept, etc.

Did you read dans TRs about CX w an infant? They aren't the most infant friendly airline. When I was booked w my son in J they wouldn't let us use a car seat bichlal since it "wouldn't fit. " which is why I would have flown KE w a baby. Aside for your baby experience do you still think KE is better? Did you have a chance to try both beds?

Didn't read Dan's TR. And it's one thing to have some stupid policy that you follow, but it's an entirely new level of ridiculousness to tell a passenger to wake up a kid (who's in a deep sleep) and tell them that you need to pick up the seat in an upright position because of some turbulence. Oh, and then there's running over to me and straight up yelling at me for bringing the car seat on board. Like geez, you can say it nicely.

Aside from this b*tch of a FA, I would still say KE FAs were a lot nicer and friendlier (comparing J to J). As for beds, I'm assuming you're asking me to compare KE J to CX J. If so, it's not a fair comparison because KE J was on an A330 (short-ish haul flight) and CX was reverse herringbone, but CX bed was better.

ETA: Just to give an example of how infant-friendly KE was (this is in reference to my F flight with them), when I was boarding, my kid was sleeping in her stroller. They OFFERED that I can wheel the stroller on board so that DW can get settled in her seat and then quickly transfer my kid to DW so that she stays asleep. It took about 5-7 minutes for us to get settled in and the whole time they held up everyone else from boarding so that we didn't feel rushed because we were blocking the aisle. And the second we reached cruising altitude, they once again offered that we use the empty seat for our daughter to sleep/play (she was booked as lap infant).

Should have read the TR.
CX is the worst for infants and BYOK.
FAs are usually nothing amazing either.

But CX F seat and bed is the best in the industry. As is their PJs. And the KSML in the HKG lounges.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Bottom line is, I'm still happy I flew with them. Booked pre-deval through AA so good value and had a direct flight. I wanted to upgrade to F but only 2 seats opened and needed 3. Was just shocked at how this one FA acted. It's one thing to not have amazing FAs, but it's another thing to act the way she did.

Unfortunately didn't get to experience the lounges because we did cable cars / big buddha right before our flight so barely had time in the airport. Just made a quick stop in The Bridge to shower up.

SQ PJs are -IMO- on par with CX but yes, both the best I have experienced so far.

In terms of bed, are you saying it is the best bed that is also still a seat or are you referring to any experience involving a bed? (i.e. old LH F, EY Apt)

Me+Dw enjoyed EY F (A380) better in terms of the bed comfort and the sleep we had on it.

KE F PJs were great. Gianfranco Ferre and super comfortable.

loved CX F but what's the deal with their amenity kit? It's worse than Y on some flights.
I wish I knew about KSML in the lounge in HKG I did a BYOK
And yea the FAs are not the greatest

I'll agree about CX's seat. But I still think the bed and bedding on QF beats CX by a considerable margin.

LH F 747 ain't shabby neitha'.

Nice, wish BA F offered me to watch my baby.

It's not a great as it sounds. The nanny is for the entire plane, not just F. There's often many kids in Y and the nanny spends much time there.

True. But she will still watch your kid if you ask her to, as opposed to most other airlines..

I have the option of both being ANA.

I think ANA is supposed to be nicer.

I can do a more direct routing on CX J..... And once I am trying out ANA I should try out Asiana as well, I think
