2k was fine. It didn't look like there was much difference in privacy between the seats.

No.

I believe that's incorrect.

Read the meal options onboard part - http://hawaiianair.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/392/~/in-flight---meal-service
No idea what the link says but I saw the KSML with my own eyes and can upload a pic if you'd like.
I was told here that they don't so I didn't bother reserving one. Once onboard I saw them bringing them out so I asked to take a pic. Called HA after the flight and they said that they definitely do provide.

Interesting. From info here and online says they don't do. Please post pic when you have a chance.

I don't have a pic of the actual food but it wasn't my meal. I see now it doesn't show that its from HA, you can faintly see their literature in the front right. If you don't want to take my word for it I can submit proof that I was on a HA flight during the date on that meal.

Austrian JFK>VIE
I found it to be comfortable and easy to adjust. An extra couple of inches wide would have been nice. The foot well was deep enough for me at 5'9".

Posted from OS lounge VIE

One thing I would add is that some of the cabinets from the galley were outside facing towards my seat and that was a bit disturbing.

VIE>TLV was fake J just no passenger in middle seat

KSML:
On OS JFK-TLV in J they served Weiss. First they brought out a "snack"which was a roll with deli

Almost immediately afterwards they brought out the meal which was a corn salad with cold grilled chicken on top and a hot pan of roast beef with bowties broccoli and carrots. I found it to be very good by KSML standards.

Breakfast was a bagel and an omelet with potatoes

This is spot on
I don't know much, or anything about Borenstein, but I did meet the owner of Weiss at a catered getaway several years ago, and would definitely trust him from a Kashrus standpoint.

That being said...

I think Weiss packaging leaves something to be desired. Notice how the cutlery is heavily wrapped with stretch wrap. I've had that one before, and it was quite a challenge to open the wrapping (which IIRC was even on disposable cutlery!)

Also, I think it would be wiser (pun intended) if at least some of the meal would be pareve, as someone who wouldn't want to eat fleishig wouldn't find much to eat in this meal.

I fully agree about the packaging. The flight attendants brought me a scissors.
Realized I didn't post VIE>TLV.

Bernholtz
Hechsher Rabbi A. Y. Schwartz from Vienna-I am told by someone who I consider to be a good source that he is a very reliable hechsher.

The only thing I ate from it were the hot dish and the brownie. It was a baked chicken cutlet with mashed potatoes. Nothing to write home about but certainly edible. Tasted like the type of thing served at a cheap catered bar-mitzva or a yeshiva with decent food.

In the triangle bowls are tuna (which looked totally unappetizing) and a brownie which was good.

I have a choice of cx J which will be nonstop from HKG-EWR or JAL F on the same route. Is it worth it to make a stop to take JAL F or should I just stick to CX.

Both comfortable products, but J is not F.

I disagree.  Having wifi on such a long route makes it a no brainer for me.

He didn't mention any factors, not even convenience.  He asked which is preferable, and I vote JAL.

Dont care for wifi. flight is not for me its for my Dad. If it was for me I would definitely go with JAL F. For him hes not into this stuff really so Im wondering if JAL F is that great that its worth inconveniencing him by stopping and switching planes.

JAL F, no brainer.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
