747>380>340

Nah.

It's A380 > 747 >>>>>>>>>>>>> A340.

A380 has is quieter, bigger, and has (much) nicer, more spacious lavs.

747 is just a prettier plane.

Considering that he's a photographer on a Photo DO, the beautiful Queen is a much better choice than the ugly whale.
A380 for a larger bathroom? For shame.

So he'll be less comfortable, have less space, unable to change into PJs (unless he does so in the main cabin--please dont), and unable to hear himself think on the 747 so that he can... take a pic of the plane that is taking him *back* from his Photo DO?

Er... do you often fly planes because of how they look?

Analogy: "Emirates A380 for a nicer bathroom? For shame."

....said no one.

Heck of a response. I love me the look of the 747. Bless the Queen of the Skies.

But, alas, she's not as functional, comfortable, advanced, or lavish as her ugly Uncle.

I disagree with you on this one. I flew F on the LH-747-800 and found the nose seats plenty comfortable and quiet. I had no trouble changing into the provided PJs in the lavatory (which includes a window and fold-down bench and was cleaned between uses).

Unless you've grown like four feet since I last saw you, the fact that you fit in the bathroom is inapposite.

And, objectively, A380 is a larger, quieter, more spacious plane, with bathrooms to match. Can't argue with metzias.

+1 Why would anyone care about how the plane looks for the 5 seconds they see it from the walkway?

1. He's on a photo DO. You do things to get more interesting photos on them!
2. The 747 is a classic old school flying experience. The A380 is not.
3. The 747 nose seats have a very unique forward perspective and feel due to the curvature of the plane.

Well this turned way more... interesting than I expected ;D.

At the end of the day, it looks like it's academic: the only flight that gives me some time in the FCT that day is on a 747.

I chose the nose seat on LH's 748 for this reason but could barely tell the difference between that and a normal window, could be UA's were different. If I flew the 748 again I would take the middle seat since it offers the most privacy being next to the little counter they have in the middle of the cabin.

Depends if you're with a traveling companion of course.

On the polaris ewr-tlv-ewr route some middle seats connect and some don't. Is there an easy way to know?

Odd number rows are together, even number rows are apart, although they all have a sliding connector door, the seats are just farther apart in the even number rows.
