Expert Flyer is showing lots of space upstairs. Upstairs is better?
Of course.

Tlv-jfk via lhr in J. Is it worth it to change terminals at lhr and get on an AA plane as opposed to a BA one? 1-2-1 vs. 2-4-2...
And is it a pain to change terminals in lhr?
Of course.

Space upstairs?
off topic a bit but I am looking to book a trip from Toronto or NYC basically anywhere flying upstairs on a 747 as I have never done that before. What would be the cheapest way to do that using miles? Which airline offers the best experience?

I believe the cheapest way would be on the plane with $700 cash. Obviously will only work if there's an available biz seat.

BA F 777 or 747, same thing or is one better? Is it worth to make a longer stop for one over the other?

I liked the 747, more private, especially if you can get the nose.

The 787-9 has their latest F product.

Looks like they block the first row on every flight, how did you get it?

PUTPAC. I think they officially release it 24 hours before the flight.

And if I PUTPAC I can get it more than 24 hours before?

A350 is newer and quieter, would go with that.

Should have a newer seat as well.

Business and First Class Products Master Thread
« Reply #3616 on: July 04, 2018, 12:15:49 AM »
Going together with wife in Cathay pacific flight. How much should I give in to go on first class over business class? The flight that has availability in first class is not the preferred timing. A different flight which only has business cabin is better timing and slightly more convenient airport as well.

From what I read, it doesn’t seem as the Cathay first class is a whole different league. Is that right ? Value per point is over a dollar per point in the price difference between business and first class, but who cares ? Also as a couple going together,  isn’t business class more suitable for two to sit next to each other or with first class that can be done as well ?
Id appreciate if someone can shed some light. Thanx.

What gave you that notion? I haven't flown CX yet but everything I've read has given me the opposite idea.
