I'm 5'10" and appreciate the extra legroom, but my 5'3" wife couldn't care less.

I would say more comfort (even a little) for 9 hours is worth more than a view for 10 minutes.

HNL isn't that pretty from the air anyway,  plus you'd be flying out to OGG later on. You could see the view then.

SIN<>DXB is flown by both the 777 and the A388.

That's a toughie indeed, but I'd probably do EK if I hadn't flown either before.

I think so at this point as well. Plus one in the hand...

Additioanlly, AS to EK seems to be getting even shakier, so i will take it now.
