If I have to Ill look into the Star Alliance or Sky Team but Id rather burn AA

Im open to suggestions on other alliances now that you are telling me that Oneworld is not so easy

Just out of curiosity is there any way to get from Europe to NYC on Skyteam without heavy YQ (besides for DL)

Noticed something interesting....

If I search for a flight from LHR-NYC on BA with AA miles the YQ is almost $530!

But if I search from another place in Europe, lets say VCE-NYC and that stops in LHR and you get on the same BA flight, the YQ drops to around $150 for all the flights combined

I searched all for F savor award

Why is that??

Flying out is cheaper IIRC.

hmmm so Im thinking there has to be some sweet spot to leave Europe where the YQ is the minimalist and you can still take BA F to the US

It's not charged on a connection that's less than 24hrs.

Try lhr-vce-Nyc
That should be better,from lhr to Europe they don't charge heavy fuel.
