If you want to go without paying for two awards then you would need go transit via the middle east straight to Asia without hitting Europe. Ie, TLV-AMM-BKK-HKG. That would be 30k Miles in J

How's LH J on their a330-400 (FRA-PHL)?
(I'm pretty sure they redid it recently and SeatGuru is showing their older version)

Looking at booking HKG-Tokyo. What would be the best routing in either J or F?

Etihad Business or Qantas First? A380
« Reply #671 on: February 03, 2015, 03:51:59 PM »
Flying from AUH to LHR.

Which is the way to go?
Etihad business on A380 - 30k AA miles
Qantas First on A380 -  40k AA miles

Please don't say Etihad first, I looked. Not available for my dates.

My BIL was scheduled on DL J TLV-JFK for tonight. The flight was delayed for 6 hours and I got them re-booked on LY F  :D on the 772

They claim that there are only 6 seats in the cabin (one raw) does that make sense? A new thing?

Confirmed. LY has cut the F cabin on the 772 to just 6 seats. The FA told my BIL that theyare the first to fly the 772 since the redid it. Not sure where all other airlines manage to put their kitchen. But the kitchen here is right in front of the F pax. So much for F, they weren't able to sleep, they kept waking up from all the noise in the kitchen.
