You won't get a business seat to Europe unless you fly with LX, that means a stop over plus second flight a very narrow seat.... Best way to book would be krisflyer 50k rt plus fuel.

Or you could fly elal direct they have very good seats but not lie flat real stuff.

Thank you for the answer. I would only be booking one way. My final destination is nyc. I just wanted to stop over in Venice on the way home.

We're looking to go to SIN and HKG in Jan. SQ has availability in F SIN-NRT and R NRT-LAX. The challenge now is how to get to HKG. CX F (which is most desirable) has nothing available. KE has plenty of availability, but it'd require a stop in ICN obviously.

In light of the possible CX F availability-on-AA-disappearing, is it worth it to book KE F now or wait and hope CX F opens up? If I book KE now, even if CX opens up and I cancel the KE flights I'm suck with KE miles.

A third option is EK F, though at the moment only DXB-HKG is availably, with LAX-DXB only available in Y, and therefore not an option.

Any thoughts based on the niceness of F products?

KE F already held, epx in 1 month, but rumor has it it's not hard to extend the hold.

Thing with KE is that it seems hard to find a flight without 2 F seats available.

Thanks!

You can't possibly be comparing CX to AA.

CX = better service (provided you press call button), better bed, likely better food, better drinks, smaller cabin

AA = swivel seat and... air nozzles.

You decide.

If you flew CX I'd do AA just to sample a different product.
No F seat in the world is better than your bed at home anyway.

Inch up, inch down - it doesn't really matter that much - unless for the first time excitement. You no longer have that by now.

Yes, but flying via DFW and then a crap business on the MD80, and getting to ORD about 6 hours later is also a deciding factor.

Call well in advance,I called 2 hours before my flight and that wasn't enough time to defrost it.
