As of when? I was there a month ago  from 11:45p-7:45am and no one said boo.
Probably with in the past week or two.

It could be they dont enforce it or not a night, but that is the official new rule.

Which part was overrated?

The whole thing. Though to be fair, I was only there for around an hour.

Is there any difference between the 757-200 and the 777-200 ?

EWR-LAX

I've done the 757 dozens of times but never the 777.
the 757 is a lot better in business class

Not sure how you can think to compare the Al Swafa to the FCT. Worlds apart....

Okay, I give up. But I was still deeply unimpressed by Al Safwa whether it makes sense or not. #TheEnd

Which is the best business class (of the following. I'm sure there are better options out there, but assuming I'm flying NYC-TLV with a stop on Star Alliance, these are my options) OS on the 767-300,  LX on the A330-300, TK on A330-300, or LO on the 787-8 Dreamliner?

LX would be the best option, because most of the times you'll get the A330 on both legs, which has a regular J instead of the phony J of the others.

Interesting point, but the 2nd leg (or first leg on the way back) is less than 4 hours so sitting in phony J isnt the worst thing, but that is a nice added bonus. Other than that, for the long segment, are the OS, TK, or LO J seats comparable?

IMHO I would range it as follows:
LX>OS>LO>TK.

That was my thought but I wanted to see if anyone else who'd flown any of them had a different opinion.

You can gets lots of times real business class from IST to TLV too on TK, plus they have a good ground experience there.
