Of course it's better than CX J.

I feel like I'm a broken record, but--perhaps aside from very rare exceptions, like SQ A380 J > KU 777 F--there is simply no such thing as a Y cabin > J cabin, and no J cabin > F cabin, when factoring both soft and hard products.
I'd take UA F over CX J

At least you guys agree on something.

I'd take UA F over CX J

I'll be honest I was very pleasantly surprised by UA F. The seat is definitely on the narrow side but it's pretty comfortable and the service was decent as well.

I was underwhelmed by TG A380 F.

TG F is all about the ground service.

TG F is all about the ground service.

The ground service was great and we really enjoyed it, but that was only three hours. The flight was 12.

The seat itself wasn't the most comfortable, and the service was kind of lackluster.

It was still a great flight just definitely not one of the top F cabins.

TG is some of the best ground service in the world. That is what it is known for, not their F cabin per se.

We found TG F hard product on their A380 to be very comfortable. Best ground service in business. Service sub par. And hard product on old 747 abysmal.

Escort through security if checking in at BKK. Transit involves buggy from plane to FCL, hour massage, private living room, buggy back to plane. And then a buggy at certain outstations!

Escort through security if checking in at BKK. Transit involves buggy from plane to FCL, hour massage, private living room, buggy back to plane. And then a buggy at certain outstations!

We didn't get a buggy. Someone was waiting as we deplaned in BKK and he escorted us through security and took us to the lounge. The living room was great, the massage was excellent, and it was all very personal. When it was time to board an agent walked us to the plane again, and pushed us through the whole line of passengers. I felt like a king right then.

I had a 3.5 hour connection and I thought the entire experience was very smooth.

On our way to CNX, we were sitting in The Pier and we nearly missed our connection because I lost track of time (was trying to switch to the A350 flight). So while we were sitting in BKK, my wife got nervous when it was 25 minutes until takeoff and we were still sitting in there. It was very cool to be able to reassure her that we didn't need to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves.

However, I feel like if it was a longer connection I would prefer the FCT. Maybe it's because my FCT visit was followed by an excellent flight and that changed my perception of the whole experience.

In conclusion: I just need a place to scream my ecstatic-ness for pushing thru wait list and finally being ticketed on Singapore airlines A380 suite class from Tokyo to Singapore!!!!
I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! 😀😀😀

Which one should I choose?

1) JFK-ZRH-TLV in J (LX) and both flights on A330 (real J)

or

2) JFK-VIE-TLV in J (OS) but first leg on 767 (real J) and second leg on A321 so basically Y with middle seat blocked off.

Pros of Option 1: Real J on both legs.
Pros of Option 2: From a quick look at the reviews, OS's new J is supposedly great.

I never flew on LX but I did fly OS's new J and it was very nice but I would definitely take two segments in real J over it, especially because from pictures it seems like LX J is very similar. After an 8 hour flight you really don't want to get on a fake J and end off the trip like that. It's a long flight.

How's that even a question? Option 1.
