Obviously I get no benefit from the better food in suites, so what else can I tell my wife to convince her it's worth it?
She said she's never been in J anyhow and sq J seems very nice and comfortable, so since we can't have thr food, why bother? Can we have any of the alchohol?
Of course, they serve great whisky. If it were me and I had very few opportunities to use your points on things like this, I would definitely do it. The difference in the double bed and the overall experience is huge between F and J (although I've never flown SQ J specifically, I've flown other J products and they in no way compare to SA suites.) If LH F does open I would still do that, it's a great product and the ground experience will be much better with FCT.

Flying J Tlv-Nyc via Lhr on AA. Is it worth 45k more AA to get f just on the lhr-nyc leg? (115k vs 70k)

Nope. J is 1-2-1 on the 77W.

Thanks. Do you mean f? Cause J looks like it's a 2-4-2...

If your plane is operated by AA with F class, J is 1-2-1. If your plane is operated by BA, well..

Sorry for not being clear. It's ba aircraft. Would be J on the 744 vs F on the 777. Now is it worth the 45k AA miles?

rather pay roughly $100 for seating and get upper-deck biz on the 744

Can we have any of the alchohol?
When I flew with SQ out if JFK they had Kosher wine on board, I am not sure if ex FRA will be the same.

I had called before, and was told they they don’t have kosher wine on board, but surprisingly there was, I think it’s only ex JFK, and it has to do with the caterer.

SQ R is one of the most unique flying experiences that exist. Service is impeccable and the couple suite is a dream come true.
Who cares about airplane food, they'll be happy to warm a BYOK.

J class gets you to your destination refreshed, but it's no bucket list dream.

Anybody familiar with how the Porshce works for LH F passengers @ MUC? Is it a rental thru Avis and its $99 (euro) 3 hours? Is it a quick process to P/U and return?
Thank You

Not sure how much of that applies without a SO... But I'm sure you'll enjoy regardless.

Yes it's a 3 hour rental through avis for 99€ and that includes 150km, gas, and insurance (IIRC there's a 1,500€ deductible). An additional driver is 10€ and additional km's are 0.99€.

Regarding P/U, we did it in FRA and it was pretty quick, and we just dropped it off at the FCT and they took care of the return.
