It was answered a number of months ago in this very thread, with a lot of input from DDFers.

If you're flying by yourself and you can get a throne seat I'd do LX just because of the privacy, I've never flown TK though.

You guys rock! Thank you

I’m reading many of the raving reviews of TK lounge in IST, is any of that relevant to someone who’s Frum?

I would definitely take LX J over TK J, it’s more private (even when you don’t have the ‘throne’ seat).

Very overrated for Frum people, very crowded, I had amazing experiences in LX lounges, amazing showers, they have a nice outdoor gallery.....

Well you've heard 5 other opinions that disagree with his. So again, are you any better off than where you started?

Which other 5 opinions did you hear that actually flew both of them several times? (it doesn't mean than someone cannot have a different opinion...)

I for one, have flown both Numerous times, and disagree with your assertion.

I for one, have flown both Numerous times, and disagree with your assertion.

1. on TK even at a 2-2-2 configuration there's no way you'll avoid sitting right next to someone (unless it's empty) vs LX there are chances of having the throne, or the single seats on the right side, or the center seats which are more private than the ones on the left.
2. the TK lounge IMHO is very overrated (even for non Jews), its very busy, couldn't get a shower available, vs LX was very, very quiet, always able to grab an amazing shower (good idea to check-in for a shower right away), and I can enjoy coffee, soft drinks, fresh fruits, on the fresh air out side looking over the tarmac.

all this being said, this is my humble opinion based on my experiences, now this is not a Rashi or Tosfos & anyone is invited to disagree, I was just trying to help @Traveler12 based on my experience.

Thank you very much. This is a person who goes the extra mile to help someone. Not so busy with his own ego... and by the way, I’m not referring to you Elia, as I can see you’re always just trying to help out. You know who you are

I agree with you regarding the Lounge, but the TK seat is more comfortable (Mainly because of the ottoman VS the narrow footwell)
