I agree with you regarding the Lounge, but the TK seat is more comfortable (Mainly because of the ottoman VS the narrow footwell)
This is a good note, that's why I try to get the bulk head or the single seats on LX, (I prefer these over the throne because of the narrow ottoman).

Fyi, traveling solo..
Any window seat, more towards the back to avoid foot traffic. And you will definitely enjoy any seat.

Haven't flown too many business class flights but of those I have flown Eva is absolutely fantastic!

Just flew the following and this is my ranking:

RJ 787 AMM-TLV very old cabin but extremely spacious seats almost lie flat
QR A350-900 Tighter seats but lie flat seats not too much privacy which sucks
QR 787-8 DOH-CRK Also an issue with the privacy factor and very similiar to the A350-900 (I did get to sleep for 6 hours)

OZ A330-300 ICN-IST 2-2-2 configuration which sucks, but I had no seat mates so not an issue. Seats are angle flat and very bad for sleep.
TK 777-300 IST-TLV Never seen such a big space/seat in all my Business Class travels, I mean just wow!! However it is a 2-3-2 configuration good service and the meal was edible (brand from Turkey) seat is almost lay flat.

I think I discussed it before; yeah, had a really poor experience the time I flew the 380, and I found the bed really uncomfortable.  I probably even liked Q-suites more.

I've only flown EY F 789 and I loved the hard product but the service and soft product was really lacking IMO, although my only other F experiences were CX, SQ, and LH so the bar is pretty high I guess.
