Well that's very strange because they're clearly showing it as the operating aircraft on TLV-LIS.

uhhh

Let's make one thing clear (which also answers your question): altho Norwegian PE is nice, it does not compare even to an angle-flat J product.

And on the subject of slightly unpopular opinions, for a day flight Norwegian's 787 premium is a really lovely option. It beat all my expectations, and it was considerably cheaper than any real J option.

The seat was fantastic (again - for a day flight), which massive recline and legroom, service was great, and the price was right. OTOH the IFE and KSML were both quite horrendous, as expected.

(I know, I know, it's not really a J product. But I feel that in the right place and time it's a super-viable alternative, so it kinda fits in this thread.)

But I do give credit for not comparing it directly to Y. I feel like everyone is always so happy with PE no matter how bad it is because they're expecting a Y product. PE is not J, it is not Y. PE is PE, and should be ranked in comparison to other PE products.
When you pay another $100 for economy plus you compare it to economy, when you pay nearly double the economy price for PE, I sure hope you aren't comparing it to economy.

NYC - LON   business.
With whom should I book? What should I look for in the listing?
Iberia, AA, BA, Delta, United.  All are direct.

United Polaris is P class.  All are around the same price.

I expect to book it through Chase Sappphire Reserve.  Are they able to find any flight I know is available?  At first glance, they weren't all on the Chase Travel website.

for JFK-LAX on AA J, anyone knows if they will let me put a car seat in those seats? I remember something about seat in an angle being an issue

This link https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/special-assistance/traveling-children.jsp#CarryOnandCheckedItemAllowances mentions only first on the A321T is an issue. does that make sense?

Are you referring to AA in general, or that flight and class specifically?

It seems from my research what happened to me wasn't a isolated incident j or f it sounds like you have to get lucky to get a decent crew. without exaggeration Alaska economy felt like j compared to aa j. and it seems the better routes have worst crew because of seniority privileges

Other than the fact LX usually flies a  widebody on the short haul (which is a huge plus) I'd recommend OS over LX.

Personally, I found the LX hard product to be better on the long haul as well but the OS soft product was better. You need to be on top of the LX flights between ZRH and TLV to make sure it is widebody because it often is not.

you don’t need status when flying J so that shouldn’t factor

As per their Facebook page, La Compagnie finally ditched their old 757 with horrible seats and are now fully a321neo (lay-flat BE Diamond seats).

I'd consider flying them now that the risk of an equipment change is gone... They have pretty amazing fares most of the time.
