As per their Facebook page, La Compagnie finally ditched their old 757 with horrible seats and are now fully a321neo (lay-flat BE Diamond seats).

I'd consider flying them now that the risk of an equipment change is gone... They have pretty amazing fares most of the time.

NYC to Moscow. round trip.
business class
a) Lufthansa vs Swiss - any difference?

b) Coming home there's a Aeroflot flight that's direct.  vs Connecting Lufthansa or Swiss.

Looking further
Delta One operated by Air France is a little more
BA  has availability

Are any of these significantly better than the others?

Cross post - I assume people here would know the answer, but there's been very few answers lately.  Lack of interest or lack of knowledge?  :)

Just booked business (I) tickets on BA from NYC  to Moscow through Chase.
I went to BA to book seats and they want almost $100 each leg per seat!!!
Is this penny  pinching the same with all the airlines now?
I could fly AA or Finnair for the same price and UA for a smidgen more.  Should I cancel the BA and go for one of those? Or would I not be able to reserve seats on the others either?

BA charges for seat assignment (even in business) for years already

What about the other part of the question? Is it better to book on the other carriers?

The other airlines I could switch my reservation to, don't charge?

What about an AA flight 'operated by BA'?  Will that have a charge for choosing a seat?

What would you do?
Option 1: TLV to LHR on BA162 on a a350-1000 4 hour stop LHR to JFK on BA115 on a 777-300
Total cost 70,000 AA miles plus $278
Option 2: TLV to MAD on IB3317 on a a330-200 2 hr stop MAD to JFK IB6251 on a330
Total cost 70,000 AA miles plus $180

Both options I believe both legs are in lie flat business. Which is a better product?

I'd do BA because the 350-1000 will be the best product of them all by far. But for the long haul IB probably comes ahead

I think for the club suites its worth it as well. Just cant seem to figure out which flight the refurbished 777 with club suites is for the long haul on ba. Any clue? That would be the kicker for sure.

Concentrate on the long haul leg.  That's where you're doing your real sleep.
so: LHR to JFK on BA115 on a 777-300
vs: MAD to JFK IB6251 on a330
cost is similar.

Except that they're both day flights. I would take BA for a few reasons: You'll get new suites on TLV-LHR, better lounge in LHR including good kosher food, and fresh Hermolis catering out of LHR on the flight home.

Yea, you're most likely to conk out on the first flight and have a hard time sleeping on the second flight anyway. BA new suite should be the most comfortable bed out of all of them.

What is better JFK-LHR-TLV VS upper class
Or JFK-ZRH-TLV Swiss business?
