Ticketing online?

I holded reward tickets on aa.com, and called membership desk to add a new segment that i could not add myself. Now I like to know whether I can ticket reservation online, so I can save $100 booking fee.  I could not find 'purchase' button on this reservation. Any advice?

Try calling the AA.com help desk and tell them you made the booking online, if they can ticket it for you over the phone to help you out and waive the fee because you're getting an error when you try to do it online.

If you can't book it online AA will never waive the phone fee, they aren't like many other airlines that do.

totally incorrect. myself and others have had success with the fee being waived in regards to the discounted citi awards

Thanks for all the info. Does discounted citi awards still exist? I remembered there is 5000 miles discount for citi AA card holder, something like that.

Is their any way to avoid the over the phone booking fee for elal flights booked with aa miles? Would they waive the fee since it cant be booked online?
