Or perhaps you should try adding it.

Isn't there a 100 post min or s/t like that?

Good point. But maybe it's redundant since n00bs won't figure out how to post anyway... ;)

Is this really better than just sending money with PayPal to friend and paying their rate I think 3percent. Does PayPal charge same rate if your sending money or receiving fir eBay purchase?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Just an intersting thing i saw

SquareUp.com

get a free credit card reader for iphone and android phones.

rates are
2.75% + 15 for swiped transactions
3.5% + 15 for keyed-in transactions

dunno how this would be good, they're sending me one.
definitely for 5 purchases a month
and if u really need to meet a spending deadline?
and oh, ye, to accept payments
What does it mean keyed in v swiped?

If you don't have a physical card you'll need to punch in the number. It is a higher risk to them (and an added convenience to the merchant) so they charge more.

I just found another payment processing site - Payleap.com, $15/month + 2.5% & $0.49 per transaction or $25/mo & 2.1%

Just came across a new mobile payment platform called card.io.

Works surprisingly well. Fees are a bit higher then square (3.5% + 30 per charge) and they hold the funds for 7 days but the cool thing is that you don't need any extra hardware, just the camera :)

Also don't remember is square does credit checks or pulls but card.io is as simple as creating a login id and entering bank account details...

Couldn't find anything with search...

Still a good aption if the cheaper ones don't work for you and 3.5% isn't cost prohibitive.
