My 100k miles will expire august 2015 and i have now spent days trying to find
any biz flites to tlv on united and had no luck. i dont really care when and as long as for
at least a week i don't care how long.

the fuel charges on everyone else thru ana is insane so only looking at united but i can't
find 1 seat any day. i really need two but thats like expecting mashiach. can someone
help me figure out how to find united seats over the next 360 days to israel.

as a backup, where would ana miles best be used and have best shot.

Whatever you find on ANA is bookable via UA. On UA some airlines are not bookable online and would require you to call UA.

IF you can go this week you should be able to find available nonstop.

Fuel charges on LOT is not bad.

The problem is you can't book with in 4 days of flight.

ok this is something i dont get. if my miles are in my ANA acct, how can i go to book it at UA.
i assume i have to do it through ANA directly to use them. Is there a way to find UA flights (saver or other)
that are not shown on ANA site but would be bookable on ANA via phone perhaps. Its crazy to believe i
cannot find 2 seats biz or economy between now and august 2015.

Unless they hold back seats and let them out at some predetermined schedule.

They open up a lot of seats closer to the flight,the next month is Aug that's why you don't see any avl. but wait for the winter you should find, 30 days before they usually open up. IMO

i've tried off and on for almost a year and have had no luck finding anything.
my wife thinks its a con at this point and united doesnt offer up moe then a
seat or two which are gobbled up. i would be religious and look everyday if
i knew how long before a flite would be the sweet spot for them to release
some seats.

any idea?

finally found on sept 1st but no return... i was willing to make any return and not fly on it and by that time already sold out.
i do see available on dec 3rd direct ua

How can UA book a ticket using ANA points? Am i missing something in this conversation? OP has ANA miles, not united.

If ANA allows you to book connecting flights, there are many dates available throughout the year. If he can only book direct flights with ANA, I see his problem.

to get the 90000 roundtrip biz seat price you have to have the miles in ANA as per
Dans explanation on other blog. You can specify only using united and how to route
(i.e. through ewr) but availability has always been next to nothing and thats even if
united itself is showing numerous seats. i am at a loss how to actually get two of
those many seats .

Which means theres no real way to book a ow ewr to tlv on united ? I think I remember hearing that u could do it some way.
