In the need for 6 coins for a pidyon haben, where would be the best place to pickup 6? Or buy 6 of them?
Thanks

do you know that there is a big difference between the coins at that time and the ones that they make today? if im not mistaken they used to be 90% silver but now they are 99%. its the amount of silver ounces that you need. i used 18 silver quarters for mine. even 5 of them today is more than enough.

Dating back at what year was it a safek?
But I'm sure rav menashe Klein would have said to use 6 coins even today.
To know you did the pidyon haben kihalacha for another $20 or so you can't go wrong.

i was just saying that because some people think that you use 5 silver coins because of 5 selaim but its the amount of ounces of silver that you need. i forgot the exact amount but yeh do whatever you want.

You don't have to return. It's a non profit, they sell it to you for the price of silver at the time they bought it.
When I made a pidyon haben, silver had jumped dramatically in the few months before, and they gave me the  (much lower) price that they bought it at, a year before.
When somebody thanks you for a favor you've done, respond "my pleasure", not "no problem".
