2 things happened:
1. A rocket landed a few miles away from TLV without being intercepted for the first time
2. This is also an effect of MH17, though a mere coincidence.

Both Hamas and Israel benefit from this. Hamas is able to say that its rocket offensive works and affects Israel (unlike before yesterday, since the Iron Dome was able to maintain a little-less crazy lifestyle). Israel benefits because the world finally knows that it is also under attack and not just Gaza.

The world doesn't care too much if Israel is under attack & Israel is losing a lot of money from this.

Anyway, according to AFP, US Airways announced that they will resume their PHL-TLV flight tomorrow.

The FAA's ban (which UA is following) is until 12:15PM EST, if they remove it it's gonna be up to the airlines.
