My husband is waiting for the cease-fire to take effect and then wants to go immediately. What do the DDF people think? Will it be safe to travel to Israel as soon as there's a cease fire?

If that's the case than it was not reflected in the prices.

Maybe it's safe to stay local in Jerusalem, but to go touring the country is definitely not safe right now.

Another update: After the Air Canada incident earlier today (had to delay landing in TLV because of rocket attack on TLV) the FAA is considering renewing the ban (Israel Channel 10 News).
Will update more soon.

Having zero issues doesn't mean you weren't in danger.

So i want to make a change to to a United  award flight and so far the only thing they offer is to waive the change fees to flights that have award seats.

I would like to lop off the connecting flight to EWR but they are charging $150 for that.

I could redeposit and rebook the ticket and the close in fee is waived because of my presidential card, but the cs recommended not to do that since the miles are not available immediately and the seats might not be there when i want them. (she also said that they no longer waive the close-in fee but i'm pretty sure she's wrong on that.)

Any ideas how to do this ? thanks
